I am belatedly joining in with Bloggiesta. With a rather boring to-do list. There are other things I *should* do, but I know I won’t find the time. So my list contains a lot of posts that need to be written in advance. Especially now that I have little to no time during the work-week, I’d love to have a supply of posts which I only need to reread & post at any time. Plus, I have a long list of books that I have read and that I still need to write about:
- God Dies By the Nile
- Anne of Avonlea
- A Monster Calls
- I Capture the Castle
- Anne of the Island
- The Game
- Code Name Verity
- Away
- The Dragonfly Pool
Earwig and the Witch- Wide Sargasso Sea
- The Beggar Maid
- The Color Purple
Pride and Prejudice [comic]- Never Let Me Go
- Castle Waiting
- Tea With Mr Rochester
- Mio, my Mio
- Rasmus and the Vagabond
- Poltergeeks
Enchanted Glass- The Goose Girl
- Journey to the River Sea
- The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian
- Their Eyes Were Watching God
- The Adventures of Elizabeth in Rügen
- Chime
- How to be a Woman
- Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist
- Coraline
- Maybe This Time
Daughter of the ForestCharmed Life- Cloud Atlas
- The Song of Achilles
- Juliet, Naked
I’d love to hear which books you’d like to hear about most, as it would give me some guidance as to which titles I might concentrate on.
Apart from these posts, I could also concentrate on the following:
Guest post for another blog- Sunday Salon(s)?: I have quite a few subjects running around my head, but each weekend I concentrate on writing enough reviews to get through the week which leaves little to no time for the more thinky-thoughts posts.
Okay, I think that’s it. There is the matter of my about page not being up to date, a decisions having to be made on whether or not I still want to have a review policy and if I need to change it, as well as updating my book index and projects pages. We’ll see what I’ll end up doing..
What are you planning to do for bloggiesta? Any recommendations on stuff I should concentrate on?

I hope you get a lot done. Most of it seems boring, but usually when you get started it’s not so bad. As long as you have access to cookies, or nachos.
Happy bloggiesta!
I hope you get tons done
I would say write a few reviews, then a Sunday Salon post or 2 and then go back to reviews.
I’m with Tanya – was thinking when I read your list that you’ll end up burning out if you do it all one after the other – definitely mix it up. Best of luck, though I think you’ve the drive to get a lot of it done

I hope you get a lot done, but don’t strain yourself too much, it seems like a lot of hard work. Good luck!
Oh! I like voting for things! I vote for I Capture the Castle, The Color Purple, Coraline, Chime, and The Dragonfly Pool. Because…I like all of those books a lot and I am hoping you did too.
Oh me! I feel intimidated just looking at your list of books to review!
When I get overwhelmed I always remember Anne Lamott’s advice on writing: Just take it bird by bird.
Here’s my ¡Olé! ¡Vamos a Bloggiesta! I hope you will stop by!
One of my to-do items was to catch up on my outstanding reviews. I’ve been working on them today – I do one and then take a break and visit other blogs.
Hope you get lots done!

oh my! THAT is one long list. I look forward to your thoughts on The Color Purple and Cloud Atlas. Ole!
Hmmm… I’d love to read your thoughts on: I Capture the Castle, Wide Sargasso Sea, Cloud Atlas and The Song of Achilles. More Sunday Salon posts sound good as well. Don’t feel pressured though, I mean, you’ve just started on your PhD journey, which probably claims a big chunk of your time
